An agreement to jointly hold the nation’s 4 largest construction and infrastructure exhibitions : CONEX Korea, Gyeonggi Traffic Safety Exhibition,
ROTREX, Asia Concrete Expo On June 2, the Korea Construction Equipment
Manufacturers Association (KOCEMA, Chairman Kong Ki-young) concluded an
agreement to jointly hold the ‘Construction &
Infrastructure Week, an integrated brand of exhibitions for
construction, traffic, and infrastructure.
In the signing ceremony of the agreement for
joint hosting of construction and infrastructure exhibition held in KINTEX
conference room, Chairmen and Presidents of organizing agencies of the four
exhibitions including CONEX Korea,
Construction and Infrastructure Exhibition
is expected to be held from November 10 to November 12, 2021 in KINTEX with the
size of 40,000㎡ in total and the duration of CONEX
Korea 2021 will be extended to the holidays to be held until November 13.
Construction and Infrastructure Week is an
integrated exhibition for construction, traffic, and infrastructure. The four
events will be held jointly during the week by removing partitions separating
them from each other. Thus, it is expected that Construction and Infrastructure
Week will constitute a world-class exhibition, creating a synergy effect with
exchanges among related industries.
Serving as the pillar of Construction and
Infrastructure Week, CONEX Korea 2021 is a comprehensive event exhibiting the
construction equipment of Korea. It is the nation’s largest marketplace with
the maximum number of items including complete vehicles, attachments, parts and
components exhibited for sales, and where all players from both supply/demand
sides as well as actual buyers encompassing the rental, equipment, sales, and
construction sectors gather together.
In the business agreement ceremony, KOCEMA Vice Chairman Choi Seok-jin said, “I am confident that Construction and Infrastructure Week will become the optimum marketplace for both exhibitors and visitors based on additional demands with synergy effects from related industries, and hope that Construction and Infrastructure Week can contribute to accelerating the recovery and rebound of related industries in the post-COVID-19 era.” |
